A training week should be simple enough to repeat. At JKDBD, the published schedule is Thursday and Friday, 4–6 PM, in Hazaribagh, Dhaka. That is two sessions, not a fantasy timetable.
This is a practical look at how a week fits together for a beginner — not a claim that every week is identical.
The published schedule
Training is listed for Thursday and Friday, 4–6 PM, Bangladesh time. Confirm the current schedule before travelling, because timetables can change. The location is Salam Sardar Road, Haji Falu Mia Road, Hazaribagh, Dhaka-1209.
Two sessions a week is enough to build a foundation if you attend consistently. It is not enough to become an expert quickly. Consistency matters more than a crowded calendar.
Before a session
Eat lightly, bring water, and arrive a few minutes early. If you are sore from the previous session, tell the instructor. A good week includes recovery, not just attendance.
Keep a small note of what you worked on. One line is enough: stance, distance, a correction you heard twice. This makes the next session easier to connect.
Inside a session
A beginner-friendly session should include warm-up, fundamental movement, a technical theme, controlled partner work, and time for questions. The theme might be footwork, a basic strike, a trap, or distance management.
You should not be expected to perform advanced sparring before you understand safety and basic structure. Intensity should be scaled to the group and explained.
Between sessions
You do not need a second training camp at home. Short, regular practice is more useful: two or three 10-minute sessions of stance, stepping, and shadow work. Stop before you are exhausted.
If something hurts sharply, rest and seek appropriate advice. Training should build capacity, not ignore warning signs.
The location
JKDBD trains in Hazaribagh, Dhaka. It is a training room, not a showroom. If you are coming for the first time, message ahead to confirm the current session and directions.
If you want to understand the wider programme, read the beginner guide or see the training tracks.
Quick questions
How many days a week should a beginner train?
Two sessions a week is a reasonable start for many beginners, with short practice between sessions. More is not automatically better if recovery and technique suffer.
Can I visit before joining?
Ask the team. Arrangements depend on the current schedule and space. Confirm before travelling across Dhaka.
