Discipline
Discipline is not punishment. It is the structure that makes progress possible — in the training hall and outside it.
About JKDBD
A Dhaka-based martial arts training organisation dedicated to the principles and techniques of Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do.
JKDBD is a Dhaka-based training organisation built around a simple conviction: martial arts should be practical, personal, and open to anyone willing to do the work. We are not a performance school. We are a training organisation.
Our practice is rooted in Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do — interception, economy, and honest self-expression. We pair those principles with structured conditioning, partner work, and repetition that builds real capability.
The result is a learning environment where beginners are guided, experienced students are challenged, and nobody is asked to imitate a film character. The work is the identity.

To make serious, principled Jeet Kune Do training accessible in Bangladesh — and to help every student become more capable, composed, and free in how they move.
Values are only real when they show up in how a class is taught. These are ours.
Discipline is not punishment. It is the structure that makes progress possible — in the training hall and outside it.
We say what we mean, teach what we can defend, and strip away anything that does not serve the student.
Every person who walks in deserves a safe, serious place to learn. Ego has no useful technique.
The art changes with the individual. We teach principles, not personality worship or imitation.
How we train
Technique without application is decoration. Every principle we teach has to survive contact, resistance, and the reality of your own body.
No shortcuts. No empty rituals. No imitation.
Just clear instruction, honest feedback, and a room where effort is respected.
We explain why a movement works before asking you to repeat it. Structure, distance, timing, intention.
Partner drills and controlled application reveal what is real. Corrections happen in real time, not in theory.
The final test is honest expression. Your game should fit your body, your temperament, and the situation in front of you.

Instructor
His teaching philosophy is simple: train the person, not just the technique. Classes combine clear fundamentals, practical application, and steady progress.
